"It's Not Just About Finance"

Why America is STILL Exceptional

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

I’m sure there are people who would disagree with what I’m about to say.

But, I don’t care.

Today we celebrate our Independence from tyranny, July 4th 1776.

What’s unique about that?

First of all, there is no other nation in history that has survived and thrived as a Republic like we have.

That’s right.  I said Republic.

We are a Constitutional Republic and NOT a Democracy.

(Ask around and you’ll be amazed at how many people in this country are clueless about the difference of the two.)

Second, history shows the average life of a Republic is 17 years.  Our Constitution was ratified in 1788, therefore, our 230 years make us exceptionally exceptional.

And I’m convinced it’s because our founding fathers were divinely inspired when they fashioned our Constitution.

There are too many things to list here about why America is the still greatest country on earth.  At the same time, there are many things today that threaten the foundations of our Constitution.

If we are to survive these threats we need to stay informed about what’s important instead of listening to all the noise, lies, and deceptions that bombard us everyday from a corrupt media.

Regardless of our shortcomings, the rest of the world looks to us AND prays for us as an inspiration to the world.

So, as you celebrate the 4th with hot dogs, hamburgers, apple pie and fireworks, be sure to kiss your spouse, kids and family members.  Shake hands with your neighbors, friends, and even strangers.

Put your political differences aside and take comfort in the fact that we’re all part of something in America that’s bigger than we can imagine.

I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.  ~Thomas Jefferson~
