Financials Matter

"It's Not Just About Finance"

Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie, and Toyota?

“Happy 4th of July”

Hopefully, today you’re celebrating the birth of America which (in spite of all of our shortcomings) is STILL the greatest place on earth to live.

Want proof?

How many people do you see storming the borders of Russia, China, Venezuela, etc., seeking a better life?

Want more proof?

Why does every country in the world want to sell their goods to Americans?

It’s simple.

We’re the greatest consumers in the world.

The classic example is Japan’s auto manufacturers, namely Toyota, Honda, and Nissan.

They dominate the world in auto sales and (long ago) displaced American made cars as the top choice for consumers.

Ironically (or Not) the Koreans continue eating away at the Japanese market share just like Japan did to the US.

Before you know it, the jingle will be “Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie and Hyundai.”

(At least Hyundai sounds more like Chevrolet).

LOL!

Anyway, days like today should serve as a reminder that we (Americans) have been blessed with untold fortunes and opportunities unlike any nation before in history.

And despite the challenges and threats to our unparalleled lifestyle, we somehow figure out how to fix the messes we’ve gotten into.

Our founding fathers were truly inspired when they created our Constitutional Republic (notice I didn’t say our Democracy).

“A Constitutional Republic” is a government created and controlled, at least, by the Law of a Constitution.

More importantly, the representatives of the people must govern according to existing constitutional law that LIMITS the government’s power over citizens.

NEVER FORGET THAT.

Why?

It’s What Separates Us from the Rest of the World.

So, however you celebrate today, remember why we celebrate the 4th.

And remember (240+ years ago) when the British said to us “Give us your guns,we shot them.

Share this with a friend…especially if they believe in the 2nd Amendment.  They’ll thank YOU later.
