Sunday Funnies, If You’re Not Offended…

Welcome back to this week’s edition of the Sunday Funnies, where this past week we had the 53^rd anniversary of “Earth Day” AND pot smokers 4.20 celebrations come and go without much fanfare.

Except, of course, for those purists who still appreciate the Hippie Origins of both holidays.

And in an effort to cover-up for being “WOKE” a famous beverage company jumped on the 4.20 bandwagon with a new logo…

 Unfortunately, we still have anti-weed extremists who like to take out their frustrations by punishing our pets with stupid signs like…

And while we’re on the subject of smoking weed…it seems the people involved in the Alec Baldwin murder case have smoked waaaaaayyyyy too much weed after ruling he would not be charged with murder.

Question:  Based on this recent ruling, where are the screams of “WHITE/Elite PRIVILEGE” from the Peanut Gallery?

Crickets…

But the “Stoner Award of the Week” goes to Brandon Johnson, the new mayor of Chicago – and assorted Illinois senators – who, last week, defended the hundreds of teenagers rioting, smashing car windows, and destroying public property by saying:

“However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities.”

Ironically (or NOT) he didn’t even mention law and order or reveal the punishment for this behavior in the future.

(Note to self…Stay away from Chicago!)

And, is it just us or has everyone seemed to have forgotten that we having a banking crisis in America?

But that’s precisely why we publish the Sunday Funnies.

You see, we use our funnies/memes/cartoons to counter the madness and frustration that accompanies Turbulent Times.

Because when it is all said and done, we all need to laugh every now and then.

Why?

Laughter is good for your soul.

And it’s healthy to be a bit silly…especially in the face of fear mongering, medical tyranny, and especially the threat of WWIII.

It’s all the more reason why we won’t apologize…especially if our Funnies just happen to hurt some Progressive/Socialist/Communist/Globalist’s feeeellwwings.

And please remember:

The Sunday Funnies are not just about our nations bizarre state of politics/finance/beliefs.

It’s about awareness of what’s happening in the world that we choose to poke fun at.

And, if our funnies/memes/cartoons/etc. provide you with a laugh or two – and/or open your eyes to some stark realities – then we consider that a victory.

So, when things tend to get a bit overwhelming, we believe it’s best to remember that Humor is Waaaayyyyy better than Hatred…which is contrary to what the world wants you to believe.

And we hope you see the Sunday Funnies as a refreshing oasis in the middle of a parched, dry, and increasingly dark world that we’re living in.
