Financials Matter

"It's Not Just About Finance"

NFL Stands for Not for Long

In the last decade, the NFL has become overly political AND hypocritical in their lust for profits.

Ironically (or NOT) we reached “Peak Sports” in 2015 and NFL revenues – like most other sports – have been declining ever since.

In the past – and according to the NFL Players Association – NFL stood for “Not for Long” because the average player’s career is 3.3 years.

The Not For Long theme was kicked up a notch recently when they announced that before they play the Stars Bangled Banner, they’ll be playing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” as the Black National Anthem.

Hmmmm!

Am I the only one who never knew there was a “Black National Anthem?”

I thought our national anthem represented every race and persons who were proud and honored to live in the Home of the Brave.

Not anymore.

The idea of having a Black National Anthem is purely racist and definitely divisive.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise when we’ve recently seen NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell kiss everyone’s ass in a desperate attempt to salvage his rapidly failing football empire.

Sorry, Rog.

Your feeble attempt to engage the fans has done more to alienate them then how the idiots at NASCAR destroyed their fan base over the Confederate flag.

If you do some research you’ll find – according to Wikipedia Corruptepedia – “Lift Every Voice and Sing” was a poem written as part of a celebration of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday by James Weldon Johnson.

It was set to music by his brother, J. Rosamond Johnson.

In 1919, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) dubbed it “the Negro national hymn” for its power in voicing a cry for liberation and affirmation for African-American people.

Ironically (or NOT) the term “African-American” didn’t exist in 1919.

Hmmmm!

Maybe we should ask LeBron what he thinks.

Naaaaahhh!

The media slobbers all over themselves when LeDone criticizes the white man.

Sad to say that football players (and all other athletes) are basically entertainers who somehow believe their skills have elevated their “self-importance” to the point that we should revere them.

Truth is, we’re starting to see the opposite effect.

Who will be the first to kneel for the Black National Anthem?

The billionaires behind this insanity are relentless in their pursuit of destruction.

This is all part of the ongoing division designed to tear us apart as a nation.
