Is Sydney Sweeney Signaling Market Squeeze?

It’s hard to remember the last time a model received sooo much hype over an ad for jeans.

Cue Up:  Sydney Sweeney and her American Eagle Outfitters Jeans…and/or her Genes.

 

And the outrage is nearing epic proportions.

 

 

 

 

But as far as we are concerned, this kind of hype begs the question:

 

Is Sydney Sweeney Signaling a Market Top?

 

Wait, What?

 

We’ll explain that in a minute.

 

But it’s fascinating to see the outrage (mostly by the leftist WOKE crowd) over a beautiful white woman in a clothing ad signaling that it’s okay to be white.

 

 

 

 

Ironically (or NOT) Leftists act as if an attractive white person being proud of how they look in an ad is so absurd and extreme that it is a sign of terrible changes on the horizon.

For them, maybe, but not for the rest of the country.

 

Not surprisingly, activists are calling for a boycott of American Eagle…and now Dunkin’ Donuts is on the boycott list for daring to feature a good looking young white man featured in a new ad.

But why are these ‘wokesters’ so mad?

 

Probably because American Eagle and Dunkin’ Donuts are daring to represent the majority demographic in their marketing…unlike the Bud-Light disaster.

Remember that?

 

Ironically (or NOT) no recent leftist boycott has succeeded in harming any company’s bottom line.

And it’s because they are a tiny minority of mentally ill cultural Marxists and they have no leverage in a free market system.

 

The good news is America doesn’t look anything like the vision that leftists in marketing have fabricated over the past decade.

In fact, most dads are not dumb and useless.

Women are rarely mechanics who drink beer.

And most men are not coming home from a long day at work and doing the house chores.

 

 

Sydney Sweeney Signaling

 

 

Most of these disturbed leftists see the Sidney Sweeney ads as “just the beginning” of a trend that could dismantle their perception empire.

Hopefully they are right.

And as we mentioned earlier, the same woke activists are freaking out again this week about another ad by Dunkin’ Donuts featuring a white male model joking about his good genes and golden tan.

 

In their mind it’s simply unacceptable that good looking white people be featured prominently in commercials unless they are promoting far left ideological talking points.

Compare leftist marketing Sam Smith with American Eagle’s Sydney Sweeney and you decide…

 

 

 

 

But getting back to our earlier point about Sydney Sweeney Signaling a Market Top…this could very likely be the opposite of the Bundchen Bottom from way back in 2007.

 

Back then, Brazilian super model Gisele Bundchen stipulated that she is to be paid in euros rather than dollars…because the dollar had reached a new low.

And the presstitutes back then were so enamored with the beautiful Bundchen that they totally missed the dollar bottoming and then going on an historic rise soon after the Bundchen Bottom.

 

Events like this often get overlooked until the public finally wakes up and has their “Oh S**t!” moment.

You can ignore this if you wish, but we believe the Sydney Sweeney Squeeze is signaling that it’s time to circle the wagons and raise some cash in August.
