Rant…Wars and Rumors of Wars.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

While most people tend to shy away from Biblical prophecy and/or scriptures in general, we don’t.

In fact, we embrace them.

And we use many of them as our source of critical information…

 

 

 

And to help illustrate the importance of scripture, today’s rant features our favorite Holy Roller who goes by the handle HolyRollingRob.

 

So, without further ado, take it away HRR.

James, it’s great knowing you have deep roots established in what the Bible says and not based on what many religions teach us about what the Bible says.

Unfortunately, most people hear something from the pulpit and blindly accept it as the Gospel…no pun intended.

But the reality is most religions/priests, ministers, pastors, rabbis, etc. don’t even know the meaning of the word “Gospel” which is the Greek word for “Good News.”

In fact, it is a superlative meaning nearly too good to be true news.

Unfortunately, they toss out condemnations like “you are going to hell if you don’t (insert activity)” or “you are going to hell if you do (insert activity).”

And claim they are preaching the Gospel.

Needless to say, what they are preaching is NOT GOOD NEWS.  But that doesn’t mean they are wrong.

It means they literally aren’t preaching the Gospel.

And when you see scriptures like Matthew 24:6 about wars and rumors of wars, you tend to believe that the world will come to an end soon.

Especially now that WW3 has begun in Israel/Iran and Russia/Ukraine.

No one wants to make WW3 official because neither NATO/Europe or Israel has the assurance that the USA will join the fight.

And when/if that happens, China, North Korea, and Russia will flex their collective muscles.

Henceforth we are living Matthew 24:6 in real time.

 

 

 

 

But instead of panic you would be wise to put scripture in context (which most people don’t do) by reading Matthew 24:5,6, and 7.

⁵ For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. ⁶ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for ^[a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, ^[b]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

 

Notice it says “nation will rise against nation…famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places.”

Famines could easily mean food shortages, pestilences = Covid/manmade viruses and earthquakes = natural disasters like volcano eruptions.

See what I mean?

Adding gasoline to the fire we have the media Presstitutes bombarding us (no pun intended) with false information about these Wars and Rumors of Wars.

And this is a major reason why the real enemy wants to keep us confused and in a Constant State of Agitation.

The Bible doesn’t reveal its message in the way humans want to believe it should.

And that’s because it is the Word of God and is spiritual.

So, for all of you believers out there, the key to all victory in the Christian life is learning how to depend on the Holy Spirit for strength…And not some newspaper, preacher, politician, or friend with good intentions.

Let me leave you with a quote from a band from the 80s ironically named The Police.

 

“Poets, priests, and politicians
Have words to thank for their positions
Words that scream for your submission
And no one’s jamming their transmission
