Turkey Kills NATO Talks With Sweden

In case you missed it, Turkey just killed NATO talks with Sweden and Finland?

Huh?

Prior to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan (pronounced “ehr dow aan”) slamming the door shut, it was believed the two countries were widely perceived as very close to their NATO accession being approved.

But Erdogan went nuts – especially at Sweden – for allowing a far-right activist to burn a Quran in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm over the weekend.

And that’s only part of it.

Turkey has expressed deep dissatisfaction at both Nordic countries’ failure to crack down on Kurdish groups banned by the Turkish state.

And Erdogan is nobody’s fool.

He knows that the US needs Sweden and Finland in NATO as sacrificial pawns to further their Proxy War in Ukraine.

And Turkey is not about to turn on Russia – no how no way – and everyone in NATO knows it.

Killing NATO Talks

Erdogan is effectively playing both sides.

And, hopefully he can talk Zelensky into surrender before all Ukrainian males are dead.

I think the point being missed here is, NATO is not as cohesive as it makes itself out to be.

Why?

Turkey has long used membership in NATO as a cover for its own agenda.

Because if they weren’t in NATO – and still pursued the same foreign policies they have over the last few decades – it’s very likely they would have received the Iraq treatment.

And that’s why Erdogan’s intervention in NATO means that Sweden and Finland are toast.

Why?

They gave up decades of successful neutrality, for whispered promises of pudding from Brandon.

And now they’re stuck outside of NATO with an angry bear provoked by NATO expansion next door.

And thanks to killing NATO talks with Sweden and Finland, Erdogan has confirmed/strengthened his relationship with Putin… (High fives behind the scene with Putin).

Bottom line?

Battle lines are being drawn.

And Europe is screwed.

Especially after German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock bluntly stated yesterday that Western allies are fighting a war against Russia.”

That sounds like a declaration of War, doesn’t it?

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova responded with how this is yet more proof that the Western allies were planning a war on Russia all along…

“If we add this to Merkel’s revelations that they were strengthening Ukraine and did not count on the Minsk agreements, then we are talking about a war against Russia that was planned in advance. Don’t say later that we didn’t warn you.”

Things are moving fast.

At least we now know where Turkey stands.

Stay tuned…and prepare for the increasing volatility (HERE).

Share this with a friend…even if they know nothing about Turkey.

They’ll thank YOU later.
