The Holiday We Celebrate Today…

Happy 4th of July to all.  And we remind you that the holiday we celebrate today was a result of citizens being armed.

As a result, they were able to defeat the greatest army on the planet over 246 years ago.

Ironically (or NOT) gun grabbers don’t like to admit that the 4th of July in the United States is about commemorating the Declaration of Independence…which was ratified by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.

And it never would’ve happened if we didn’t have guns.

But…and this is a very Very Big Butt…

Far too often we celebrate the 4th by focusing on barbeques, drinking, fireworks, etc., and fail to remember the importance of what we’re celebrating.

And the irony of why we’re able to celebrate Independence Day is based on the fact that the American colonists were able to defeat British tyranny BECAUSE they had guns.

But what’s really bizarre is how so many people today (Cough! Leftist/Hypocrite/Liberals Cough! Cough!) want to deny you the RIGHT that our forefathers used to establish our freedom in the first place.

Holiday we Celebrate

This isn’t a post about why it is our Constitutional Right to bear arms.

Well, maybe it is, kinda…sorta…

But if we don’t remember why we’re still the greatest nation on the planet – in spite of how bad things seem – then we’ll end up in the dustbin of history as a nation that lost its moral compass.

And, along the way, caved in to the evil agenda of those who hate what we represent.

We’d like to point out that on St. Patrick’s Day we all act as if we’re Irish.

And on Cinco de Mayo we all act as if we’re Mexican.

So, we submit to you that on the 4th of July 2022, we not only act like Americans, but that we believe that we’re on the threshold of a New Great Awakening in our country.

And, based on that hope, we collectively stand against the evil that threatens that which we hold so dear in our hearts.

Be sure to read how the New Great Awakening impacts the financial markets in our July edition of “…In Plain English” (HERE).

Share this with a friend…especially if they believe in our Constitution.

They’ll thank YOU later.

At Financial$Matter We’re Not Just About Finance.

We simply use finance to give you hope.
